Sony Unit Extends Worldwide Distribution Agreement with BBC through 2019 (NYSE:SNE)


Sony Corp.’s (NYSE:SNE) DADC New Media Solutions unit said late Thursday it extended a global asset management and distribution agreement with BBC Worldwide through 2019. Under the extended agreement, Sony will be responsible for delivering BBC Worldwide content to over 800 global distribution points. Sony will enable all distribution to take place within one hour as it migrated to Amazon’s (AMZN) Web Services.
