Tesla Motors Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) Tesla Model 3, has been long awaited, to be officially released. There has already been reports and rumors, of hundreds of thousands of pre-orders for this vehicle, spanning a net worth value of over $10 million.
The original release of this car, was not to be expected, until its scheduled production time, which originally was sometime in 2017. However, there is speculation that the vehicle will be put under production, earlier next year than what is expected – ahead of the current production line.
General Features expected on the Tesla Model 3 sedan
The first thing to note about the model 3 sedan, is as its predecessors, the electricsedan is completely silent while it is being driven. Furthermore, the Tesla model 3 is one of the rare cars that will allegedly be able to go into what has been referred to as ‘Camper mode’.
Furthermore, it has been reported that the vehicle will come equipped with a battery pack that is approximately in the 80 kWh range, which is equivalent to between 3-300 miles total range. This estimate was made based on highwayspeeds and essentially means that one would be able to complete approximately 364 miles or 5 hours of driving per charge.

This is exactly what the case is, according to Electrek, July 15, is the date of which Tesla is expected to put the ‘Pencil down’. Which, essentially refers to concluding the preliminary engineering design stage.
There were industry analysts that criticized both Telsa, as well as Elon Musk, stating that they would not be able to fulfill their goals in the deadlines that the tech giant has announced, however, Elon Musk seems to be content on the production progress of the Tesla Model 3, and now many are pondering on whether or not the Tesla Model 3 sedan will arrive ahead of expected time:
