Walt Disney Co (NYSE:DIS) and Victoria Secret Stores collaboration for Halloween through Victoria Secrets angel Jasmines Tookes. The costume that Tookes took on, was to resemble her namesake from the Disney universe, Princess Jasmine.
Although, there were lots of dress-ups for Halloween, various individuals that are involved in the industry state that this outfit was on point. So much in fact, that currently, it is the front runner on the celebrity costume contest.
How Walt Disney Co (NYSE:DIS) and Victoria Secrets Stores, LLC collaboration worked
Through Victoria Secrets designing a fashion style directly in comparison of the well-known Disney character Princess Jasmine. This character comes from the famous children book, Aladdin. The outfit itself featured a turquoise blue crop top, allowing Tookes to reveal her well-toned midriff and suitable cleavage.
In order to ensure that the outfit was as close to the Disney character as possible, it was designed to resemble as close as possible to Princess Jasmines ensemble. This includes the straps that fall off the shoulder.
However, Tookes took this a step further, through wearing a large gold necklace, similar to the one that Princess Jasmine featured in the musical animation of Aladdin, which was roughly 1992. To top the outfit off, there was a turquoise headband, with a blue jewel in the middle of her headband.
The last features of the outfit
There is still more to be revealed for the lower section of the outfit, included in this, is the harem trousers. These pants included a gold-fringed waistband. As well as a cleft front and center of the pants. To finally conclude the outfit, Tookes equipped a pair of bland gold stilettos to perfectly round-up the outfit.
However, despite the Disney and Victoria secrets collaboration, although Jasmine was a great hit, there were plenty of other great outfits at the event. Some of which, include Margot Robbie’s take of Harley Quin, from the Joker, Martha Hunt also donned a fantastic outfit, resembling Elvira Hancock, who was the main character in the 1987 film Scarface.
Disney stocklast traded at $93.85, after a decrease of $0.17 or 0.18%.
