Angelique Boyer Wouldn’t Mind Playing Anastasia Steele in 50 Shades of Grey!

February 22, 2015 - By Jan Rainey

Angelique Boyer has said that she’s wanted to be in a Latino version of 50 Shades of Grey with her boyfriend Sebastian Rulli. She said that she loved Anastasia because she thinks that all women can see a little bit of themselves in her. She said that she is also an emblematic and iconic character, both of which she enjoys to portray.

But, Boyer has also said that she doesn’t think she’ll ever get to have her dream come true. This is mostly because she is a telenovela actress, and there is an unwritten rule that if you play an actor or actress on a television show, then people will not come to see you at the movies. You have to pick one role or the other. Rulli and Boyer have found a lot of success together portraying couples together on TV. They are currently working together on Los Hombres Son de Marte, Las Mujares Son de Venus. At a recent show, Boyer said that she was touched by her fans from the bottom of her heart.

The show was on a production break at the end of 2014, so the couple has just gotten back to the big stage with the show. Rulli said he was nervous a few weeks ago that production was starting back up. He also said that his fans should go check out the movie Birdman, which is produced by fellow Latino, Alejandro González Iñárritu.

Although Rulli spends much of his time in Mexico, he grew up in Argentina, and most of his family now lives in Europe. The two spend a lot of time together even when they are not working on shows. They frequently post pictures of themselves together on social media, which their fans enjoy. Boyer and Rulli are continuing to work on their current telenovela, after which they will probably start work on a new one. Telenovelas are unique because they do not last very long compared to soap operas, which will often last for multiple years.

The former focuses on a single storyline for a set amount of episodes and then ends, while the latter will have longer and multiple storylines going on for as long as the show is popular. The telenovela world is both different from the movie and the rest of television.
