Electronic Arts has ramped up promotion of its upcoming DLC packs for its popular Battlefield 4 premium platform, namely Battlefield 4 Dragon’s Teeth, and Battlefield 4 Final Stand. Some of the changes were found added to the PC update, but it’s unconfirmed whether the additions would be part of the rest of the upcoming expansion.

Among the new features of the former (revealed in official video trailers) are the two-handed ballistic shield, which can protect you from bullets but makes you unable to shoot back, adding new dimensions of strategy to finding within the game. Among other new weapons observed in the PC update were handguns, sniper rifles, S IG MPX SMG, and a bulldog assault rifle.

Some players have reported they want more than this, even on the characterization side, not merely more weapons to destroy people with. The main strength of Battlefield – the strong visual, high-resolution images of realistic gun battles – is also a weakness for users familiar with other action games that permit the development of at least one or two characters.

Additional maps have been created for Asian cities, with 10 new assignments, gun drones, the RAWR (a heavily armed ground vehicle that can be remotely operated), etc. The particulars some of the new of how to work with each new element, have not been revealed to the public.

According to international business Times, the downloadable content packs being submitted for Battlefield 4 Dragon’s teeth will set a new bar for the action for shooter format games for the foreseeable future.
