The PlayStation 4 version of Diablo 3 is reported to be an improved game with new social features to allow friends play together from distance apart and fight the same enemies if in a co-op match. Players can now choose characters on their account.

Until now it was not very clear when the Diablo 3 PS4 will get launched, but a Romanian retailer has very recently listed the game for release on September 25.

Prior to this a representative of developer and publisher of the game Blizzard tweeted that the company is looking for release of D3RoS on PS4 in 2014.

RoS is for Reaper of Souls and it is the expansion of Diablo 3. It was released for the PC as well as Mac last month. It has new difficulty settings for mandatory hard work to be done by gamers in opening the map, finding the path to get out, unveiling the inventory and lots more challenges.

Blizzard said the Diablo 3 PS4 is a “Action Combat” game. Though not confirmed by Blizzard, but it is being speculated the game for Xbox One is also in development. Also, in a new consumer survey it is found Blizzard may come up with the second expansion of the game for the Sony’s machine too.

Diablo 3 is the third installment of the Diablo franchise that was released in 2012 for PC and OS X. Console version of it for Xbox 360 and PS3 came about a year later in 2013.
