Hilarious Jurassic World (Jurassic Park 4) Parody Takes Internet By Storm

February 23, 2015 - By Jan Rainey

A Jurassic World parody trailer, made entirely of funny edits to the original, is currently taking the internet by storm, amassing over 500,000 views in just a few days.

The clip was edited together by YouTube user Darren Wallace. It’s so bizarre that you really have to watch it, but Wallace has managed to take all of the fear and suspense out of the trailer by adding in his own props.

Instead of scary raptors stampeding across the screen, they have been replaced with the face of Jeff Goldblum. One dinosaur is seen in a lake riding a purple blow-up ring, while in another scene a Justin Bieber poster is seen on the wall.

More hilarity sees Chris Pratt’s character examining a rubix cube instead of a dinosaur’s claw, and in one scene where mysterious blood is seen dripping on a man’s face, actually turns out to be ketchup from a burger, not a wild beast.

There’s a cameo from Arnold Schwarzenegger, characters unexplainably dressed in drag or pirate outfits, and dinosaurs with baseball caps and afros.

The real kicker is seeing Chris Pratt escaping from a group of raptors on a motorbike, but this time the raptors themselves are on their own motorbikes!

So what prompted the trailer? Perhaps it’s some kind of subtle commentary about the wackiness and implausibility of the real Jurassic World story itself. That or it’s just one of those strange internet videos that make up a whole sea of strange internet videos!

If the parody hasn’t completely thrown you off, the real movie hits theatres on June 12th this year.

It tells the story of classic Jurassic Park attraction that no longer captures the public’s imagination and is losing money. To tackle this, scientists decides to create a genetically modified version of the T-Rex to wow the public in to returning. However the Indominus Rex is stronger, faster and much more intelligent than the real creature, and as you might expect … it escapes!

The movie stars Chris Pratt as Owen Grady, the tough guy hero, and Bryce Dallas Howard, one of the scientists behind the I-Rex.
