Kentucky Route Zero Act 3 Releases On Linux, Mac, PC

May 8, 2014 - By Jan Rainey

The latest installment of Kentucky Route Zero is launched. It is the third part of the series and the final two acts are expected to arrive throughout 2015.

Similar to season passes of other games, the Chicago-based developer Cardboard Computer is offering 25 percent off which is around $18.74. The discount will end by May 13, Tuesday.

The Kentucky Route Zero Act 3 is a magical realist point-and-click adventure game and the steam copies of it will be automatically updated. Players who bought it from store will also see on their account an updated copy. However, even if there’s a problem, one can check the key resender page of Humble Store.

According to Cardboard Computer, a small issue exists with the Mac version. In it the command+tab does not work in the fullscreen mode for the time being. To overcome this problem, users are suggested to switch to windowed mode first with command+F to use thereafter the command+tab. Probably a fix to it may arrive soon.

The second part of Kentucky Route Zero was launched last year in June and in November the developer brought an interlude between act 2 and 3 named The Entertainment.

Cardboard Computer earned $8,583 on Kickstarter to fund the game in February 2011. Last year the Kentucky Route Zero was one of the Polygon’s Top 10 Games Of 2013.
