Man of Steel 2 Leaked Spoilers: Statue Scene and Flying Batmobile

June 16, 2014 - By Jan Rainey

There is a huge buzz online about the new Man of Steel movie, as many fans have never imagined a Batman VS. Superman movie before. This is very interesting because Batman does not have superpowers, he is basically a regular guy who is talented at capturing bad guys. On the other hand, Superman has all kinds of superpowers, including the ability to fly.

Well the latest update mentions a flying Batmobile, which can make it possible for Batman to keep up with Superman (and provide him with defense, because he does not have superpowers). The details are not clear yet, but it seems that the Batmobile’s doors are going to open out, possibly looking like a bat’s wings.

Last Friday, there was a press conference scene shot that featured the broken Superman statue. The scene depicted the 15-foot statue and revealed the purpose of it was to honor the Last Son of Kypton’s heroic actions in “Man of Steel” when he helped save earth. This scene is particularly interesting because there are children wearing shirts that read “Superman Survivors”, with Gotham and Metropolis news trucks there to cover the mayor’s speech at the conference.

It has also been confirmed that Jason Momoa will be Aquaman, although it is still unknown how involved Aquaman will be in the new Man of Steel movie. Ben Affleck is playing Batman, Henry Cavill is playing Superman, and Gal Godot is playing Wonder Woman. Expect to see Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and Jeremy Irons is set to be Batman’s butler.

So will Batman and Superman fight against each other in this movie? The answer is not yet clear but apparently they will fight towards the same goal at some point in the movie. It’s expected that there will be some conflict between Batman and Superman in the beginning, so you will have to wait and see!
