Mission Impossible 5 has Yet to Receive an Official Trailer or Title!

March 8, 2015 - By Jan Rainey

Mission Impossible 5 is a movie has been in production for quite some time, and there has recently been some drama with the films ending. Mission Impossible 5 is somewhat of a sequel to Mission Impossible 4, and will bring back a few actors from the fourth movie, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol. Except, one of the actresses from the movie, Paula Patton, won’t be in the sequel.

The director of the movie, Christopher McQuarrie said on Twitter that there was no particular reason why Patton wasn’t in the movie, just that she was unavailable. The female lead in the new movie will be Rebecca Ferguson, who will have a similar role in the movie that Paula Patton did. It really seems as though Patton simply couldn’t fit the movie into her busy schedule, and not that there were any conflicts between her and anyone else who was working on the movie. McQuarrie also said that we will be getting an official title and trailer for the movie soon.

This makes sense, because the movie has basically been finished and in fact it is scheduled to be released in around four months from now, on July 31st, 2015. But, we haven’t seen any footage from the movie besides a few stills from them filming. The plot of the movie has been kept under wraps as well. It is typical for larger movies to have a lot more press leading up to the reveal of the movie, but this hasn’t been the case with Mission Impossible 5.

A fan also asked McQuarrie if they had to reshoot the ending to the movie. He said that they had to prep it, and that the situation was not unusual as they were constantly rewriting bits and pieces of the movie since day one. The Mission Impossible series is supposed to be a fun spy movie, and is not the most serious of movies. Although there is plenty of drama, there is also a lot of humor and relaxed portions of the movies.

Many people are starting to get excited for the movie because it is supposed to be released so soon. We know that filming begun in Vienna, Austria, and has since moved to various locations around Europe. As far as the plot goes, that has been kept under wraps.
