James Bond 24 Filming Off to a Rough Start with Daniel Craig Getting Injured!

March 11, 2015 - By Jan Rainey

James Bond 24: SPECTRE has been in the works for quite some time now. We recently got the official title to the movie revealed, and it’s recently been announced that a new cast member, Stephanie Sigman, has joined the cast of the movie.

Daniel Craig will still be returning as James Bond for the fourth time, although if you have been following the news, you know there have been rumors for another James Bond for quite some time now. It’s not that fans have been unhappy with his performance, but that actors typically play James Bond for a few movies and then move on from the role.James Bond 24: SPECTRE will release late next year, and so far, has just started filming. Many sources are saying that filming hasn’t exactly gotten off to a great start. So far, Daniel Craig has already gotten injured in filming.

He sprained his knee while on set, and this will take quite a bit of time to recover from. The injury means that the shooting schedule of James Bond 24 had to be changed to account for his recovery. James Bond 24: SPECTRE, is set to open in UK theaters on November 6th, 2016 if everything continues to go according to plan. Film experts say that when a major star gets injured like Daniel Craig, it can really screw everything up. The iconic locations that the Bond series is known for can be hard (or even impossible) to rebook.

Sigman’s role in James Bond 24 hasn’t been declared yet, but she has joined the cast of the movie as someone named Estrella. James Bond movies typically have more than one Bond girl, usually two or three. One sometimes dies over the course of the movie, and another is on the evil side.

Given that Sigman is the lesser known of the three Bond girls currently in the movie, many people suspect that she will be on the chopping block in James Bond 24: SPECTRE. We’ve seen some behind-the-scenes footage of the movie so far, and it looks like a typical James Bond movie. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing though, as there are more than a few elements which make up a James Bond movie. The behind-the-scenes footage takes place in the Austrian mountains.
